	September 4, 2003 -- OK, I'll admit, it has been a while since any real updates were done. The problem (my excuse) is that I have been heavily working on two other sites and just neglected this one. 	December 31, 2002 -- Pornucopia is now available again for the first time in 12 years. The new edition is published by Mundania Press (www.mundania.com). There is a Trade Paperback Edition, a Hardcover Edition, and eBook (downloadable or delivered on CD), and a Limited Edition, Signed and Numbered Hardbound Edition. Also Mundania Press will be releasing the Key to Havoc in April.
	September 27, 2002 -- Amazon.com has listed that they are shipping Up in a Heaval. I received an ARC for Up in a Heaval. Updated the Up in a Heaval page with new information. Updated the following pages: Xanth, Swell Foop.

	February 15, 2002 -- Enhanced the program that is generating the book listings for the web page. I can now select multiple books and it will generate the listings with the book pictures alternating left to right to left. Used it to update the following pages: 20 Years, Faces, Nonent, December Dates, Ship of Mustard, Syracuse Collection, Alien Plot (short story), Alien Plot (book), Soft Like a Woman, Imp to Nymph, E van S, To The Death, Transmogrification, Deadline, Hearts, Revise and Invent, Baby, Cloister, Love 40, Kylo, Plaque of Allos, and Think of the Reader.
	February 7, 2002 -- Updated Mute, Moot. Summaries added to Virtual Mode, Fractal Mode, and Chaos Mode. Added pictures to A Spell for Chameleon, The Source of Magic, Castle Roogna, and Ogre, Ogre.
	February 6, 2002 -- Updated Mute, Added a new page for Moot, which was to be a sequel to Mute. Updated the Biliography with new information.
	February 1, 2002 -- Finally completed Bearing an Hourglass with all the editions. I finished my database computer program (written from scratch in Visual Basic). This should make updating of the pages go quicker. I can enter all the information into the database, and it will generate the HTML pages. Says a lot of coding HTML by hand. Also handy for when new books come out and old pages need updating.
	January 9, 2002 -- Well it has been a very long time since I did a major update. Two deaths in the family, the horrible September 11 tragedy, a more aggressive teaching schedule, holidays, etc. all contributed to the back-burnered status. Anyway, with a new year hopefully I can get going on adding much more to the site. A lot has happened in the last six months so I will be updating quite a few pages. 	June 15, 2001 -- I just received the ARC for Swell Foop, the 25th novel of the Xanth series. I have updated the Swell Foop page with information.
	June 7, 2001 -- It's been two months since any update. Sorry about that! Quite busy with my daughter's wedding and with getting back to teaching after my operation. Anyway, I received the paperback release of The GutBucket Quest, and the ARC for How Precious Was That While, Piers' new autobiography continuation. Page updates include Home, Bibliography, Updates (this page), How Precious Was That While, The GutBucket Quest, About, and What's New.
	April 7, 2001 -- Updated the Home Page. Updated What's New? with information about forthcoming books announced. Updated How Precious Was That While page with announced publication date.
	March 30, 2001 -- Updated the Cube Route page. Updated the Quotes page.
	March 29, 2001 -- Received the hardbound first edition of DoOon Mode and updated the DoOon Mode page wth new scans and information. Added additional books to the bookstore.
	March 04, 2001 -- Finally got the additional website awards I won back in January posted on the awards page. Being in the hospital for two weeks really screwed up my schedule.
	February 28, 2001 -- Updated Quotes page. Added more books to the Book Store. Updated the main page and added an image to the Caterpiller's Question page.
	February 21, 2001 -- The Compleat Piers Anthony uses the "Inside the Web" for a discussion/message board, and I just received notice that they are closing down all the boards due to low revenue as of March 5, 2001. I have downloaded and archived the messages there and have removed access that board until I find a new source. The Links page was updated extensively.
	January 26, 2001 -- I received the ARC for DoOon Mode! I have also got a hold of the cover for the first edition of DoOon Mode. I have updated the Mode series page as well as the DoOon Mode page. Also I purchased (and was e-mailed) Pier's new short story (the first one in a decade). Commitment is available from www.electric-bookworm.bigstep.com for the meager sum of $3.00. 	December 30, 2000 -- In response to a question about the different pen-names/pseudonyms that Piers Anthony has used, I created the Pseudonym page. Updated the Site Map with a link to this new page. Updated the FAQs page to refer to this new page.
	December 29, 2000 -- Updated Table of Contents images to do MouseOvers with complimentary colors. Added neat picture of Piers consulting a map for the Site Map page.
	December 7, 2000 -- After receiving more e-mails from Piers Anthony, Charles Platt, and Phil Gurlik, I have re-written the Pornucopia page with all new information. Also updated the What's New page with Piers new DisMember 2000 newsletter.
	December 1, 2000 -- Updated the Man From Mundania and DoOon Mode pages with new information and pictures. Updated the What's New page with changed information.

	October 2, 2000 -- Updated the Swell Foop, Key to Havoc, and Key to Chroma pages with a new character names. Added a server side include for Link Exchange banner to all pages. Got to advertise! Updated the Piers Anthony Awards page with more awards.
	October 1, 2000 -- Received the hardbound version of The Dastard from Amazon.com. Received the paperback version of Xone of Contention from Amazon.com. So these both should now be available in your local bookstore. Updated the What's New page with the announced release date for DoOon Mode (April 2001). Completed the Aton series pages, Chthon, Phthor, Plasm, and Soma. Updated the Piers Anthony Quotes page.
	September 13, 2000 -- Updated the Home Page with extra navigation buttons. Updated the Site Map. Updated the FAQ page. Uploaded a whole bunch of pictures ... again. Apparently something went kablooey on the ISP host I am using and a mass of pictures simply disappeared. Also several pages are out-of-date. I have to assume there was some crash on their servers and they restored from an older backup and many of the changes I made were lost. All should be back to normal now. If you find a picture missing, please let me know. Thanks! Corrected a link in the Bio and Pix page. Corrected a link in the Source of Magic page.
	September 8, 2000 -- The Compleat Piers Anthony site has won another award. This is the Critical Mass Award.
	August 28, 2000 -- I have had a few people ask about my entire collection. Just for reference, I have photographed my bookshelves containing the hardbound and paperbacks. This does not include magazines, pulps, newsletters, etc. Beware that there are several large photos that will take time to load.
	August 23, 2000 -- Received an ARC copy of The Dastard. I will be updating the page as I am reading through it. The Dastard is scheduled for release in hardcover in October 2000.
	August 23, 2000 -- The Compleat Piers Anthony site has won another award. This is the 2000-2001 Golden Web Award.

	August 3, 2000 -- Updated the What's New? page with information that Xlibris.com has release the next two Bio of a Space Tyrant novels, Politician and Executive. These are both available from Xlibris.com as hardbound and trade paperback editions. Completed the Xanth Timeline page. Did more work on the Chronological Writings page. Started a Guest Appearances page. Started a new Quotes by Piers Anthony page, which includes quotes Piers has given to other books he has read. Started a Miscellaneous Minutia page that will contain trivial information that has not been placed on other pages ... sort of a gathering point as I delve through the reams of information I have yet to put up on this site. This replaces the "Other Items" page. Updated the following pages with more information: Shame of Man, Isle of Woman, Robot Adept, Out of Phaze, If I Pay Thee Not in Gold, Balook, Orc's Opal, Cluster, and Awards and Nominations.
	July 31, 2000 -- Completed the Volk page. Shrunk the text size on the Site Map. Updated the FAQ page with Whatever happened to Hi Piers, a short history of Hi Piers and why you should not call the old 800 phone number. Added a Piers Anthony Awards and Nominations page. Updated the Glossary page with USF collection information. Started a Xanth Timeline page. Started a Chronological Writings page, which lists everything Piers has written in a (published) chronological order.
	July 26, 2000 -- Added a new interview I found. The Piers Anthony Club on Prodigy had a question and answer session with Piers. Added a Privacy Statement for this website. Started a new chronological page. Updated Wielding a Red Sword with a short description. Updated Bio of a Space Tyrant, Refugee, Mercenary, and Politician with short descriptions. Updated Omnivore with a description. Added the new page for Terrible Beauty, a proposed book of poetry from some of Piers' fans. Updated the Sitemap with new entries.
	July 10, 2000 -- Updated the About Me page (added a couple of pictures. Updated the Xanth page with a couple of thumbnail covers. Updated the sitemap with new entries. Reworked the What's New? page to combine the information from What's New and Publication Schedule together. Also updated the Works in Progress section to show what is being worked on, what is done, and what is on hold. Updated Bio and Pix page with new photos.
	July 8, 2000 -- Updated The Dastard with a cover picture and more text. Updated the Key to Havoc and added a new page for Key to Chroma, the second ChroMagic series book. Also updated the Bibliography with the Key to Chroma information.
	June and July, 2000 -- Worked on all 300 pages. Added server-side includes for metadata and footer information (cuts down considerable on website size, and makes it easier to implement global changes. Trimmed the Bibliography down to primarily titles. Moved all the extra information from the Bibliography to each individual pages. This cuts the size of the Bibliography and also adds information to each page (versus having a 'coming soon' construction sign on each.) Since I am updating this page, I thought I would throw in the comment about what I was doing :-)

	June 2, 2000 -- Since I keep getting e-mail messages telling me that "Compleat" is spelled wrong, I have updated the FAQ page to explain why that spelling is used. Also shrunk the Magician Humphrey picture on all the pages. Reworked the home page with less stuff so it loads faster. Added a reference to a new interview with Piers on SFFWorld. Combined the Publication Schedule, Works-in-Progress, and News all on the What's New page.
	June 1, 2000 -- Updated The Ring, Prostho Plus, Being a Green Mother, and Killobyte pages.
	April 28, 2000 -- The Gutbucket Quest was released on April 15, 2000 in hardcover. The page has been updated with cover scans and more story information. Also updated What's New? with information. Piers collaborator James Richey, co-author of Quest for the Fallen Star and author of Journey of Rem (found on Amazon.com) sent me a couple of bookplates signed by Alan Riggs. Alan is the third co-author of Quest for the Fallen Star and was also Piers Anthony's research assistant. I quickly applied these to my hardbound and paperback editions of the novel making them complete with all three signatures. I will be updating the signature page scans soon. Thanks so much, James! Piers has published his newsletter for "Apull 2000" and you can view it at HiPiers.com. Piers has mentioned me by name this time too, saying I was a "serious reader" :-) It's been over a month since I have done any updates ... shame on me. Recently remodeled the house and with teaching three nights a week now (plus the regular full-time job) I haven't been able to do much on the site. But enough whining. I have continued to purchase new books and have recently acquired almost 300 old fanzines and prozines that I am now looking through for Piers Anthony information -- articles, letters, announcements, reviews, etc. Got a letter from Piers a couple of weeks back as I was discussing the daunting task of finding some of these old publications. He said that in his early days of writing (the 60's) he was quite prolific in the 'zines. In fact this is where he made a lot of powerful enemies as he told things like they were and took no crap from people, especially the publishers.
	March 22, 2000 -- Reworked all the pages to move the borders into 75% of the page, instead of 100%. This allows for easier reading from line to line. Also re-worked several pages' content, mostly for cosmetic purposes.
	March 20, 2000 -- Created the page for Quest for the Fallen Star and a companion page for collaborator James Richey. James sent me an e-mail OK'ing the pages. Thanks James!
	March 8, 2000 -- I received the ARC for The Gutbucket Quest and have updated the page. Also I tweaked The Secret of Spring page a little.
	March 2, 2000 -- Updated the Interviews page with more links to new interviews. Created the Xanth Table of Contents page.
	February 25, 2000 -- Revamped the Site Map. Now it shows almost all of the pages available on this site. Several cross-references and double listings are included to help make things easier to find. (Burned up about 11 hours creating it :-) Tweaked a few entries in the Bibliography. I received an e-mail notice about another online publisher and forwarded the information on to Piers. I received an e-mail back from Piers' wife CAM, letting me know that Piers will check it out and maybe include it in his online publishing newsletter at HiPiers. Updated Pornucopia again as I received the second copy (supposed to be a different edition) from Borders.com. No such luck, the editions are the same.
	February 19, 2000 -- Created pages for 20 Years and Alien Plot. Updated Hard Sell and Anthonology with the Grafton Anthonology edition information. Re-worked several pages for better layout. Added a color cover to The Secret of Spring. A late added note: Just picked up The Secret of Spring in hardcover at the local bookstore. So it is out 1/2 month early! Updated What's New. Updated the Biography and Picture pages with Piers' dog's name "Obsidian Dog." I also started a Glossary page for reference and terms.
	February 1, 2000 -- Well I finally got off my duff and completed the Pornucopia page. It took 7 hours to complete but I think you will find just about everything you ever wanted to know about the book.
	January 31, 2000 -- Just acquired an Advanced Reading Copy of The Secret of Spring by Piers Anthony and Jo Anne Taeusch. Updated the page with cover pictures and synopsis. Also updated What's New, and the Bibliography with information about the re-printing of the Bio of a Space Tyrant series by XLibris.
	January 13, 2000 -- Updated the Bibliography. Started adding more details to various pages.
	January 6, 2000 -- Got word of a new Piers Anthony interview by Crescent Blues. The link is http://www.crescentblues.com/2_6issue/piers.shtml. In the interview he talks about the movie that I sent to him before Christmas entitled "Embrace of the Vampire" (the un-rated version starring Alyssa Milano). He gives a brief review of the movie too. I'm glad he liked it :-) Also I updated What's New, The Dastard, Swell Foop, Bio and Pic, But What of Earth?, The Secret of Spring, The Gutbucket Quest, and Climate of Change with the information from the interview.
	December 23, 1999 -- Added a Site Awards page as I received a couple of awards. Also added a new search engine (see bottom of any page -- usually one keyword works best).
	December 21, 1999 -- I have eliminated the use of frames because so many people had trouble with them. There is a new site map that will list all of the main pages for this site. Also at the bottom of each page there are a few navigation buttons to bring you to the main page, the site map, and a couple of other pages. Any time you need to find something, simply click on the site map button. Added a search index for this site (as well as the internet) to the bottom of the home page.
	December 14, 1999 -- Updated the Pretender, What's New and DoOon Mode pages.
	December 6, 1999 -- Well another month crept by with no changes, been busy with people from out-of-town most of November. I have managed to purchase a few very rare books which will show up here sometime (I hope). I also acquired about 30 more autographed books and have a deal for another 25 autographed ones going on. Some are duplicates, some are new. I put together the first Companions of Xanth (game) link with a walk-through. I have several different walkthroughs which I will be adding as time goes on. I updated the Bibliography (changed the name from Comprehensive List). I found out that Realty Check was originally named "Candle." I added an Interviews page and included the old People Online Conference. I'll be adding more to that later too. Added more text and several more pictures of Piers to the Bio and Pix page.
	October 29, 1999 -- Added some text to Isle of Woman, Hope of Earth, Yon Ill Wind,

	October 10, 1999 -- Updated What's New, The Dastard, and Swell Foop. Also updated a bunch of pages where I am starting to create them by copying information from the Comprehensive List over to the individual page. I will be filling in the 'meat' of the page as I get time.
	October 8/9, 1999 -- MAJOR EVENT --- moved The Compleat Piers Anthony website over to its own domain. Now the URL is http://www.piers-anthony.com.

	August 12, 1999 -- Wonderful!!!! I got to speak live with Piers on the TalkCity interview chat room tonight. He announced that he was 72,000 words into the Iron Maiden and that Xanth is planned to go through #27, Cube Route. More on the interview later.

	July 9, 1999 -- Having found that the Java menu was not working properly on many browsers (including AOL) I have replaced it with the text version. I will be updating a better one in the future but sometimes simple is better.
	July 8, 1999 -- Added Off the Deep End page. Updated Comprehensive List Received quite a few books that I am cataloging now. I will be updating these soon. Updated A Picture of Jesus (also known as Dragon's Revenge) with a story review.
	June 25, 1999 -- Updated Quest for the Fallen Star page with a blurb from the book. Added another entry for the Books About Piers Added dates/ISBN numbers/prices in the Comprehensive List for Xone of Contention (hardbound), Dream a Little Dream (paperback), Zombie Lover (paperback).
	June 24, 1999 -- Updated the Books About Piers page. Added a new Locus Magazine page. Added information to the Comprehensive List about the Easton Press Limited Edition Hardbound of Macroscope.
	June 23, 1999 -- Updated the Comprehensive List for the story A Picture of Jesus, also known as Dragon's Revenge. Acquired another copy of Again, Dangerous Visions (which has the short story In the Barn), and the July 1993 Science Fiction Age (with the Picture of Jesus story).
	June 15, 1999 -- Added a story synopsis for the new Xanth novel Xone of Contention that is due out in hardcover in October, 1999. Updated the Anthonology page with the new autographed hardbound edition I purchased. Added nine preliminary pages for the Dragon's Gold Series. Includes Dragon's Gold, Serpent's Silver, Chimaera's Copper, Orc's Opal, Mouvar's Magic, and the omnibus reprints Adventures of Kelvin of Rud Across the Frames, Adventures of Kelvin of Rud Final Magic, and Three Complete Novels of Dragon's Gold.
	June 9, 1999 -- Updated the FAQ page with more details. Updated the Bio and Pix page. Arranged the series book titles in alphabetical order on the Java menu and text menu pages. Also received information about Worldly Goods that appeared in Niekas #37. Added this to the Comprehensive List and created a new Worldly Goods page. Added reference to the Books and Articles About Piers (Bio and Pix) page. Bummer, I lost out on the auction to acquire the Niekas #37. :-(
	June 8, 1999 -- Rearranged the main (Java menu). Instead of listing links, I have made a new Links page so I can show images and have more information. I will be reviewing the sites and rating them in the future. If you have a site to add go here.
	June 7, 1999 -- Just received a copy of "Niekas, the Gaudy Fanzine", Issue #20, Fall 1968, where there are preliminary sketches for Sos the Rope drawn by Jack Gaughan. Also includes an article written by Piers Anthony where he reviews Roger Zelazny's Lord of Light. I updated the Comprehensive Listing with this information. Also received a copy of Again, Dangerous Visions which has the Piers Anthony story In the Barn.
	June 6, 1999 -- Just picked up the brand new Quest for the Fallen Star that just came out in paperback. I updated the Comprehensive Listing with this information.
	June 4, 1999 -- Created the Key to Havoc page and the ChroMagic (a new fantasy series) page. The information comes from an interview that Marisol (of PATH) did with Piers Anthony recently (reprinted with permission). Also created the Bio and Pix page -- at least a good start on it. I plan to add more later on. Just received a very nice bookplate signed by Piers. Attached it to my new copy of Muse of Art. Also updated the Muse of Art page with information quoted from a letter I got from Piers. Created the FAQ page. Updated Hasan with information about the Borgo Trade Paperback Edition (I just acquired two of them). Updated more links and added new books to the Comprehensive Listing. 	May 31, 1999 -- Finished up creating "blank" pages for each book, magazine, etc. Wow, it came out to 267 pages at present! Piers is so prolific it takes some effort to properly catalog his works. Now I will start filling in the detail, so stay tuned!
	May 30, 1999 -- Well I have neglected the site for some time. Been busy with a multitude of things including my second oldest daughter's (Jenny) high school graduation. She is receiving some scholarships and other honors, and has been very busy with various activities in school so consequently I have been attending some dinner, banquet, or awards presentation ceremony for most of this past month. Anyway, while not much new has been added, I made some minor corrections to the Comprehensive List page and have also added individual pages (albeit nothing on them yet) for most of the other series and books. At least you won't keep getting the same "under construction" page all the time. Some of the new stuff I have recently acquired includes a neat poster advertising Virtual Mode that was signed by Piers, as well as about 20 more signed books. Most of these I acquired through eBay auctions. I will be listing these as I get more time.
	April 14, 1999 (later) -- Finally got the Link Exchange working.
	April 1, 1999 (later) -- Added a new Discussion Board. Stop by and leave a message. (Note 2/21/2001 - board was removed)
	April 1, 1999 -- Added Ghola Goblin to the mastheads of each page (a little more eye-candy). Added the Anthonology page. Updated more pictures and information to Hasan and Hard Sell.
	March 31, 1999 -- Revamped all the existing pages. Added Metadata for searching engines. Updated Hasan page. Moved larger images to another server. Eliminated image titles for quicker loading. Added legalese to try to keep from being sued or shut down. Also added the nifty Good Magician Humphrey to several pages. He can be my mascot and guide through the website. I love his #2 pencil.
	March 12, 1999 -- Added a ton more details to the Comprehensive Listing. Changed the series title bullet and size to make it stand out.

	March 7, 1999 -- Added two Xanth Web Rings.
	March 3, 1999 -- Revised a bunch of pages for mistakes and added more details to the Comprehensive Listing. Added a preliminary Science Fiction Book Club page (it is not done yet).
	March 2, 1999 -- Added Hasan page. Updated the Comprehensive Listing Added the Add-A-Link page.
	March 1, 1999 -- Updated several pages. Added the Hard Sell page.
	February 12, 1999 -- Added the Franklin Mint Xanth Figure Collection page.

	February 2, 1999 -- Greatly expanded the Comprehensive Listing.
	January 28, 1999 -- Added the Comprehensive Listing (first draft) and the Books and Articles about Piers pages.
	January 21, 1999 -- Picked up five Piers Anthony autographed bookplates for some of my collection. Found a few older Piers pulps listed on eBay.
	January 19, 1999 -- Updated the menu and uploaded more images. Gathered information about Piers articles.
	January 16, 1999 -- Added a counter and re-sized the date and time display.
	January 15, 1999 -- Scanned and photographed a bunch of images. Mostly the Franklin Mint Xanth figures. Putting together the page for those. Uploaded the new pages, images, and menus.
	January 13, 1999 -- Reworked the menus and changed the font and some colors. Worked up more titles. Hey - got some signed Piers Anthony books in today! Piers appeared on January 9, 1999 at the Borders in the Washington D.C. area. He appeared with Julie Brady for the signing of their new collaboration Dream A Little Dream. I called Borders last week and ordered two copies to be signed by Anthony and Brady. I also ordered a copy of Zombie Lover signed by Piers since I do not have that one yet. Well I got all three today and you can take a look at the signatures over in the respective sections.
	January 10, 1999 -- Since it is 3 am Saturday morning, and I am getting ready to quit, I legally can add another entry here. (One looked so lonely.) I added the About page, and this Updates page. Created a few more graphics, and tweaked the Java applet menu again.
	January 9, 1999 -- Finally got off the coach and started this site. It's been in my head for several years and now it's time to get it done. Built the menu system using the SiteNav Java applet from The Java Hermit and much thanks to Sean Gibson of PATH - Piers Anthony Thread for pointing me to the applet. Finished the first couple of pages. Started unpacking and dusting off my Piers collectibles. This is going to be a long process!
