  • Yippee! I received the Advanced Reading Copy (ARC) of DoOon Mode (the 4th and final book of Mode series). So I am happily reading it now. The DoOon Mode page has been updated with information and cover shots of the Hardbound Edition and the ARC.
  • Released!   Commitment, the first short story Piers has written in over a decade, is now available from www.electric-bookworm.bigstep.com for the meager sum of $3.00. Note: On March 25th I received an e-mail advertising Commitment available for $2.00. Check the website for the latest and correct pricing.

  • From Piers: "I have become a grandfather. Our daughter Penny had something to do with it. The stork brought her a ten and a half pound baby girl named Logan on SapTimber 23, 2000. Princess Ivy in Xanth was modeled after Penny as she grew up; when Ivy married, soon Penny did too, and when Ivy got triplet girls, Penny had to do something. But the stork wasn’t able to make it that far into Mundania with three, so settled for one big one."

  • Released Early!   April 15 -- The Gutbucket Quest, the new Piers Anthony novel co-authored by Ron Leming has been released in the hardbound edition (originally scheduled for May 2000 release). It should be in bookstores everywhere. If you don't see it, ask them to order it. You can also get it at the usual places, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Borders.com, etc.
  • Released!   Piers has published the Apull 2000 newsletter over at Hi Piers! Yippee, Piers has mentioned me by name in this one as a "serious reader" :-) Piers has also updated the Internet Publishing page. HiPiers.com has a new webmistress, Seema Seachrist, and the whole look of the site has changed. Seema has done a very good job with many nice touches.

- Spring 2000 -

  • **SCHEDULED** Spring, 2000 -- Piers novel Letters to Jenny is scheduled to appear as a TV movie sometime this Spring. The tenative title of it is Princess Rose.

- March 2000 -

  • Released!   March 10 -- A re-release of Vale of the Vole with completely new cover artwork. Very nice looking!
  • March 9 -- I received an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC) of The Gutbucket Quest, the new Piers Anthony novel co-authored by Ron Leming. This is due out in hardbound from TOR in May 2000.

- February 2000 -

  • Released Early!   February 18 -- The Secret of Spring, the new Piers Anthony novel co-authored by Jo Anne Taeusch. This hardbound edition is now available. Just got mine at a local bookstore :-) Great cover! Check it out!
  • Released!   Piers has published the FeBlueberry 2000 newsletter over at Hi Piers! Piers has also updated the Internet Publishing page. Piers wrote reviews of some books he read and movies he watched. In his reviews, he included two of the movies I sent him, Embrace of the Vampire (unrated version) and the widescreen version of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

- January 2000 -

  • January 31 -- Received an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC) of The Secret of Spring, the new Piers Anthony novel co-authored by Jo Anne Taeusch. This is due out in hardbound from TOR in March 2000.
  • January 6 -- A new Piers Anthony interview has been published by Crescent Blues. The link is http://www.crescentblues.com/2_6issue/piers.shtml. Piers mentions watching the movie I sent him recently. :-)

  • August 12 -- TalkCity conducted a live chat room interview with Piers Anthony and about 60 of his fans lucky enough to get in. I was there and ask him about Xanth #27 Cube Route, among other questions.
